President Roger Moser and the Kingdom of Callaway Supper Committee recently named Rich Custard from New Bloomfield as the president of the 113th Kingdom of Callaway Supper. The historical event will be held March 6, 2018 on the William Woods University campus.
A graduate of New Bloomfield High School ’76, Rich was born in 1957 and raised on a 50 acre farm near New Bloomfield, less than a mile from Meadow Lake Acres Country Club. He graduated New Bloomfield High School in 1976 and later married Karen Kelly from Fulton in 1982. They have four children and three grandchildren.
Following Lincoln University, Rich has made a career in forestry and agronomy with a focus in ornamental and turf management. He is celebrating his 43rd year at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club where he serves as the Director of Golf and Services overseeing the overall club and golf course management. His wife, Karen, is also employed with Meadow Lake Acres Country Club where she is the Food and Beverage Manager.
